Renovations of the Main Entrance at RGH are underway. An alternate entrance has been set up just south of the usual entrance.
Patients and support people will undergo Covid-19 screening prior to enter entering the hospital.
Patients in labour should skip the line and go right through to the entrance screeners. From there, you will be directed to the 6th Floor to complete your Covid-19 screening.
As we enter Stage 3 of provincial re-opening, restrictions on support people have been eased both in clinic and at Rockyview Hospital.
One support person is permitted to attend appointments. Support people will be screened for covid symptoms and risk. Anyone who fails the screening will not be allowed entry to the clinic.
Labouring patients are now permitted to have 2 support people in labour. Only 1 support person will be allowed in triage and on the postpartum unit.
While the municipal indoor masking by-law has been lifted, the Covid-19 pandemic remains a concern. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our patients and our staff. With that in mind, we continue to ask you and your support person to wear a mask when you enter our clinic and for the duration of your visit. Physicians and staff will continue to be masked.
