NEW: APR 1, 2022. Support Person update

Jan 24, 2022. have you tested positive for covid-19 and are planning future Trav

MAR 1, 2022. clinic masking and covid-19 screening policy

We are pleased to inform you that with the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in the province, labouring patients will again be allowed to have 2 support people in labour.  Physical distancing of 6 feet must be maintained in the delivery room.  Due to space constraints, only 1 support person will be permitted in triage and on the postpartum unit.

Patients and support people will continue to be screened upon entry to hospital and once on the labour and delivery unit for covid symptoms and risk.

MAR 1, 2022. clinic masking and covid-19 screening policy

As of March 1, 2022, the province of Alberta has removed the provincial indoor mask mandate.  The health and safety of our patients and staff is our utmost priority.  For this reason, we will continue to ask our patients to wear a mask while in our clinic.  We will also ask that you continue to answer our covid screening questions prior to appointments and upon check-in.  If you are unable to wear a mask or decline to wear one, please discuss this when booking your appointment.  As always, if you have any flu-like symptoms, please do not attend your appointment in person.  Call to reschedule or to arrange a phone appointment if appropriate.

We have received many questions about Doctor's Notes for travel outside of the country after testing positive for Covid-19.

We strongly recommend you review the testing requirements for each country you are entering, including Canada.

Please review the Government of Canada requirements for re-entry.

If you have tested positive for Covid-19 by PCR test or Rapid Antigen Testing and require a note for travel, please contact the office to arrange an appointment to discuss with a physician.

There is a $50 charge for all notes for travel related to Covid-19. There is no guarantee that a note from one of our physicians will be sufficient to gain entry to any country if you have tested positive for Covid-19.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you have the proper documentation for travel.
