Dr. Kushneriuk grew up in Saskatchewan, where she completed both her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy & Cell Biology and her medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan. In 2020, she moved to Calgary to complete her residency in Family Medicine, where she discovered her passion for maternity and newborn care. Since beginning her practice in 2022, she has been grateful for the opportunity to build relationships with patients and support them throughout the beautiful journey of pregnancy and delivery.
Outside of work, Dr. Kushneriuk enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with her friends and family. She loves skiing, hiking, biking, and camping in the mountains. She also enjoys travelling and exploring new places around the world.

dr. Nadine lundgren, MD ccfp
Dr. Lundgren has been practicing in Calgary as a family physician with a special interest in low risk Maternity for more than 20 years. She loves caring for patients at all stages of their lives, but particularly loves helping couples with the exciting transition to becoming new parents! When she is not working in the clinic or delivering babies, she is spending time with her husband, 3 teenagers and her dog Winston. She loves the mountains and spends as much time as possible hiking, mountain biking or skiing.
Dr. Makela Nkemdirim, MD CCFP
Dr. Makela Nkemdirim grew up in Calgary where she completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary. She received her medical degree from the University of Toronto then returned to Calgary where she completed her residency in Family Medicine in 2003. She practiced low risk obstetrics at the Rockyview Hospital since that time. Though she no longer actively performs deliveries, Dr. Nkemdirim continues to practice office based family medicine, prenatal, and postnatal care.
dr. susan sutton, Md CCFP
Dr. Susan Sutton completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta in 1990. Both the love of the mountains and family brought her back to Calgary where she met her husband and started practicing family medicine. Dr. Sutton enjoys developing long term relationships with patients in her family practice. She also feels privileged to be in involved with prenatal care and still loves the excitement of delivering babies. When she is not working, Dr. Sutton enjoys many different active outdoor pursuits with family and friends. Oh, she also loves to sleep and can’t seem to control her sweet tooth.
After a long, fulfilling career, Dr. Sutton is looking forward to a well deserved retirement starting January 2027. Congratulations, Dr. Sutton!
